Previous incidents

The issue affecting Plate Multisite has been resolved. The outage was caused by a storage-layer problem on our infrastructure provider's side, which affected Redis and other dependent services. The provider restored the storage layer, and the platform is fully operational again.

We recently migrated to a Dutch cloud environment, and we are in active discussions with our provider to identify preventive measures so an incident like this does not recur.

The brief downtime was caused by a planned database configuration change: our hosting partner, InfoSupport, increased the shared buffer size on the Multisite Prod 1 cluster from 2GB to 4GB, which required a database reboot. The application was unavailable for approximately 2 minutes during this reboot. Service has now been fully restored.

Our sites are available again. We're currently verifying and monitoring the situation to ensure everything remains stable.

The fix has been deployed and it appears to have resolved the issue with spam submissions bypassing our filtering. We're continuing to monitor the situation closely to confirm the issue doesn't reoccur. We'll post a final update once we're confident this is fully resolved.
